Weekly Prompts Wednesday Challenge – Curiosities

“What a large volume of adventures may be grasped within the span of his little life by him who interests his heart in everything.”― Laurence Sterne

Today, the final Wednesday Challenge of 2022 from partner Susan and myself is CURIOSITIES. The next Wednesday Challenge will be published on the 4th January 2023!

I chose the word “curiosities” to relate to those weather anomalies usually associated with harsh winter weather.

This week we greet the arrival of the winter season about midweek and Christmas this coming Sunday. Some parts of the country have received more than their share of ice and snow and blowing cold breezes, but we all know the weather is fickle, especially at holiday time.

The photos above were sent from a friend in the Netherlands and provide a dramatic example of the weather they are receiving in that part of the world.

Susan and I encourage you to share with us your own take on the word.

As always, our challenge is flexible, please interpret it in any way you wish – Words, Pictures, Poetry or Rhyme.
