“I started working when I was seven, and ever since then I’ve been saving for an apartment. Even before that, I had a little jam jar designated for my apartment money.”– Keira Knightley
This week’s Wednesday challenge here on partner Susan and my site is CONTAINERS.
Among other uses, some containers are used to protect and safeguard items we value as important. They can be made from glass, metal, wood, plastic or just about anything we elect to use to protect items useful to us.
Glass jars are an important commodity at this time of the year when people start to preserve the fruits, vegetables, and assorted jam and jelly recipes handed down to them from their grandmothers.
They are convenient vessels to hold money, metal screws, buttons, favorite sayings and memorable quotes and an assortment of other items we wish to preserve.
This week tell us about your use of jars and containers and if they are important in your life.
As always, our challenge is flexible, please interpret it in any way you wish – Words, Pictures, Poetry or Rhyme.
