“I feel that it is healthier to look out at the world through a window than through a mirror. Otherwise, all you see is yourself and whatever is behind you.” – Bill Withers
This week’s challenge on partner Susan and my site is ROOM WITH A VIEW.
People spend an inordinate amount of time and money attempting to beautify and enhance their windows, whether large or small. Expensive drapes are often drawn over windows that offer picturesque snapshots of the world beyond the confines of one’s own dwelling.
Windows of all types and sizes ( bedroom, kitchen, den and even bathrooms) in their own way offer us their take on the world outside. we only need to open the drapes (or shutters) and enjoy the view our residences provide free of charge.
We ask you this week to pull open those blinds, drapes or shutters that prevent you from enjoying nature’s beauty beyond the glass barrier.
As always, our challenge is flexible so please interpret our challenge in any way you wish – Words, Pictures, Poetry or Rhyme.
