“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water. Or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.”– John Lubbock.
This week the Wednesday Challenge from partner Susan and myself is the word CLOUDS.
If you are a cloud watcher like I am, you always marvel at the many types of clouds that float freely and at times, playfully above your head.
Some clouds are puffy, dramatic, playful and (here it comes) cirrus. No matter what their form as they float by us, they inspire our imaginations, warn us of dangerous weather ahead or just plain entertain us with their antics.
For the past two weeks, the low humidity and high temperatures have all but obliterated the visual display that clouds offer us.
This week Susan and I invite you to grab your camera, go outside and snap a photo of the clouds floating by in your neck of the world. Look up and capture the moment for us.
As always, our challenge is flexible so please interpret our challenge in any way you wish – Words, Pictures, Poetry or Rhyme.
