Weekly Prompts Wednesday Challenge -Mini

“The worst day of mini golf beats the best day of work.” – Anon

This week the Wednesday Challenge from partner Susan and myself is the word Mini.

My initial thought on the challenge was to name it Mini Golf, but we changed to the more flexible MINI at the last minute; please use the word to suit you.

Mini Golf has been around for years. I remember the first time I played it at an amusement park and got my first (and only ever) hole-in-one. The ball had to travel through a water trap, with a windmill turning blade blocking the shot, but I did it.

What about you; have you ever taken your children or grandchildren to play a round of this sport, or perhaps you yourself indulged in a light-hearted round?

The game of golf for adults is formalized and a bit too rigid for most folks. Mini golf gives you a chance to test your prowess and skills in a less demanding situation.

As always, our challenge is flexible so please interpret our challenge MINI in any way you wish – Words, Pictures, Poetry or Rhyme.
