Shades of Chintz
It’s the first weekend of April so it must be time for our monthly Colour Challenge and for this month we’ve chosen chintz, or to be more precise Shades of Chintz.
I wonder how many of you remember when IKEA brainwashed the world and told everyone they needed to throw out their chintz?
Fortunately, the 500-year-old furnishing style never dies, it just lies dormant for a while. Change is afoot and chintz is making a comeback.
Chintz has an abundance of colours and shades, but which colour comes to mind when you think of chintz? Whatever it is, please do tell us or show us.
As usual, the challenge is flexible and the choice is yours – Words, Pictures, Poetry or Rhyme.
