“Just because something is familiar, doesn’t mean it’s safe. And just because something feels safe, doesn’t mean it’s good for you.”―
Weekly Prompts Wednesday Challenge – Familiarity from GC & SueW.
This week the midweek challenge from partner Susan and myself is FAMILIARITY.
We would like your feedback on the all too familiar expression “familiarity breeds contempt”.
Have you found in your own real-life situation that this notion often proves itself to be true?
Aside from breeding contempt could familiarity not lead to an increased understanding of another’s position or situation in life in relation to us.
We would like you to give us your take on this notion.
As always, the challenge is flexible, so please interpret the word Familiarity in any way you wish – Words, Pictures, Poetry or Rhyme.
