“Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.” —Oprah Winfrey

This week the Wednesday Challenge on partner Susan and my site is BUS RIDING.
When it comes to riding a bus I must confess that I was a seventy-something virgin who as a motorist thought that being chauffeured in a public transit system vehicle was not for me until I actually was forced to use the ETS buses and now am impressed with their high level of customer service and efficiency.
I am quite sure that many potential bus passengers have their concerns about the safety and security of using the public bus transit system especially these days during the current COVID 19 crisis. In my city, the bus ride is safe and informative. I will write more on this matter in my Main Aisle blog later this week.
For the moment though Susan and I invite you to tell us your opinion about the bus service or lack of it in your area. Your reflections from childhood days riding a school bus or more recent experiences as a public transit passenger are welcomed.
As always the challenge is flexible, so please interpret in any way you wish – Words or Pictures, Poetry or Rhyme, you choose.
