“Autumn that year painted the countryside in vivid shades of scarlet, saffron, and russet, and the days were clear and crisp under the harvest skies.” – Sharon Kay Penman

This week’s Wednesday Challenge on partner Susan and my site is AUTUMN STROLLS.
This week we invite you to put on your warm autumn jacket, grab your camera (large, small or in between) and venture outside either alone or with that special someone and capture the brilliance and the beauty of the autumn leaves that are lying around waiting to be discovered by you.
These colorful entities are virtually everywhere and all you have to do is get off the couch or sofa, walk out your front door and enjoy the show. The aroma of fresh, burning leaves might arouse some thoughts of yesterday when you were younger and frolicked in that special pile of leaves your dad raked especially for you to enjoy.
Each pile of autumn leaves might have its own significance for you. Please feel free to submit your own photos of the leaves and scenes in your area. Poems, musical videos and your own personal narrative about the brisk autumn weather are all welcomed. – gc.
