The Weekend Challenge from partner GC and me is our monthly Colour Challenge, and for September the colour is Calamine.
Calamine- it seems as though I’ve known this word for the whole of my life. As a youngster there was always a bottle of it sitting high on the medicine shelf, my mother would smear it liberally on my Chicken Pox and dab it over those itchy insect bites that plagued me every summer.
There are light pinks, dark pinks and hot pinks and then there is the gentle soothing Calamine.
