W/P Challenge ‘The Bridge’

The inspiration for this challenge came from a most unlikely source (Nan’s Farm explains).

Bridge –  the time, place, or means of connection or transition, building a bridge between two cultures. Well, that’s one way of thinking about the challenge; but perhaps your thoughts are a little more conventional.

There’s a wide interpretation to be had on this one, and GC and I are curious to see what you come up with, but whichever way you choose to define our challenge, don’t forget there are no rules and no deadlines.
