This week’s Word Prompt challenge word is UNWIND.
My partner Susan and I ask you this important question: When was the last time you personally took a “lazy day” for yourself and enjoyed doing those things that are important to you and make you feel energized, relaxed and stress free?
Although the above animated acrobatics and twisting and turnings of this young female performer might cause you to flinch and groan in disbelief this is what happens to each of us when we let the stresses, cares and expectations of life mentally and emotionally get the better of us.
Not many people can physically duplicate the amazing antics of the performer in the video but psychologically and on a much more harmful emotional level this is what we do when we focus on our fears and daily concerns and forget to let go, relax and unwind.
So for this challenge tell us the last time you physically placed a Do Not Disturb sign on your office door, wore your Gone Fishing t-shirt or just physically separated yourself from both friend and foe so that you could recharge your own emotional batteries?
