“Never forget that anticipation is an important part of life. Work’s important, family’s important, but without excitement, you have nothing. You’re cheating yourself if you refuse to enjoy what’s coming.” ―
This week’s Word Prompt is ANTICIPATION.
My partner Susan and myself ask you to reflect on how a sense of expectation and hope has affected your life and how you felt when the outcomes you expected to occur did not.
Were your hopes realistic and fit into your long term life goals or were they mere unrealistic desires and dreams that you knew deep down would never happen but to which your clung steadfastly?
Sometimes reality is hard to accept and being human beings we place all our hopes and dreams into ideas and schemes which are not good for us.
Be as concise or descriptive as you wish but remember that this is your personal account of this very universal feeling.
