Photo Challenge Sphere

This weekend your Saturday Photo Challenge is Sphere

The world is the true classroom. The most rewarding and important type of learning is through experience, seeing something with our own eyes” ~ Jack Hannah

Before we begin, I must first offer my sincere thanks to GC for writing all prompts and challenges during the past few weeks, for taking over the day to day admin of Weekly Prompts, and, importantly,  affording me the precious time to relax and enjoy my three-week vacation.

Recently, and for no particular reason, my random thoughts turned to maths lessons in Year One, and in particular, the shape walk. This was where small groups of children, armed with worksheets attached to clipboards walked around the interior of the school building hunting for shapes within objects. The shape that often caused difficulty was the Sphere.

Gerry and I would like you to undertake a photographic shape-walk, and we’re pretty certain that during your shape-walk, the sphere will be a little more obvious to you than it was to the five and six-year-olds. Try it, it’s fun!
