Photo Challenge Easter

“Is the Easter Bunny a space alien trying to trick us into implanting us with his eggs? Because I will so swear off chocolate right now.” ― Thomm Quackenbush.

Our Saturday Photo Challenge is EASTER

Easter is one week away and the magic , hope and promise of the season in the air is as strong as the sentiments experienced at Christmas with the birth of the Christ child.

It is a holiday that is part of the rebirth of spring and the Easter egg itself represents new life, hope and promise. Coloring eggs have become a family tradition as well as planning family gatherings.

The above photo montage depicts a series of exhibits offered to helping children ( young and old) relive or experience for the first time the joy and hope of that special day.

Do you remember the Easter egg hunts or the enjoyment of actually building a wicker basket and placing chocolate eggs and other treats inside for your children. What about the special outfit you bought yourself to celebrate the day? All these things are worthy of a few photos.

Susan and myself not only invite you to display your own Easter preparations and themes but also the special way in which you celebrate the day in your own tradition with your family.

We wish you and yours a very Happy Easter and hope that the positive attitudes and hopes of the day will bless your hearth and home.
