Word Prompt Compromise

“In a negotiation, we must find a solution that pleases everyone, because no one accepts that they MUST lose and that the other MUST win… Both MUST win!” ― Nabil N. Jamal

“Would you two care for a compromise?”

Is compromise a dirty word that means one side must give up what they have so that the other side can gain a limited advantage?

In the United States negotiating has deteriorated to the point wherein the whole country is suffering because a pampered and paranoid President Trump has had his way too long unchecked by even members of his own political party.

In the real world outside the realm of the political arena each one of us must at times compromise something in order to achieve something else.

Co workers, children, spouses everyone we interact with on a daily basis have their own agendas and at times it seems we are giving up more to achieve less of the things we want to accomplish.

In this Word Prompt installment my partner Susan and I would like to know how you feel about a compromise situation in which all parties win.

If you feel so inclined let us know how you feel about the political debacle currently going on in the White House where irresistible forces are making no headway against an immovable and overweight object(r).

If you a government employee directly affected by Trump’s recalcitrant attitude also let us know your feelings.

The silent majority has to make itself known sometimes. — gc
