Word Prompt Patience

“Knowing trees, I understand the meaning of patience. Knowing grass, I can appreciate persistence.” –  Hal Borland.

Are you the type of person who has the patience and the resolve to visualize a project in your head and carry it through to completion using hard work, a blueprint and the materials of your trade or hobby?

The writer has his word processor. The painter his brushes and color schemes. The baker his pans, icing , sugars and other tools that he/she can use to create something not only eye-catching but tasty as well.

The photo above  is the initial behind-the-scene cardboard layout for a Christmas gingerbread creation that many passersby and hurried shoppers overlook completely as they carry on their other activities. I will write about this later as an addendum to today’s theme of “patience”.

Susan and I would like to know how patient are you when it comes to completing things in your life. Was patience one of your New Year resolutions and if so have you kept it thus far?

Tell us about those endeavors that interest you and at which you have succeeded in the past or struggling with today.–gc
