Photo Challenge Jack Frost

“October extinguished itself in a rush of howling winds and driving rain and November arrived, cold as frozen iron, with hard frosts every morning and icy drafts that bit at exposed hands and faces.” ― J.K. Rowling.

It is that time of year when temperatures drop, streets get slippery, hot chocolate sounds like a great idea and outdoor shrubbery and trees receive their visitation from Jack Frost.

While many of us dread going outdoors for any length of time to conduct our daily businesses and chores we all relish in the creative ways that frost adds its own animation to a drab landscape.

This week grab your camera and dazzle us with your own photos of how the frost ( or snow) has transformed the area around you. Remember to wear your scarf and mittens when you are outdoors. – gc
