Word Prompt Rock Chips

“There’s a reason the windshield is bigger than the rear view mirror:  Where you’re going is so much better than where you’ve been”. – Anon.

If you have never had your windshield compromised by a piece of flying rock then you are  very fortunate and should knock a few times on wood to continue your good luck. If you have been victim to many such instances of speckled windshield syndrome then this article is for you.

A large piece of flying rock chip recently battered my windshield on the driver’s side and the familiar cob web design signature was the only reminder of its visit. The rock was large and the chip in the window deep.

I could either replace the glass or else have the damage repaired at a much lesser cost. I chose to repair the damage with a guarantee and a “no charge” repeat visit clause that enable me to repair other such damages at no cost.

Have you experienced this type of unavoidable damage yourself?

It is depressing to drive about with the damage to your view compromised.

This week tell us your own horror story and the way you handled it. –  gc
